Journalist Detained for Coverage of Protests at Israeli Embassy

Journalist Kheir-Eddine Al-Jabiri was detained and transferred to the Cybercrimes Unit for his media coverage of the protests at the Israeli Embassy in Amman on March 25, 2024. His lawyers were denied entry to attend the investigation with him and were not informed about his whereabouts. Al-Jabiri was referred to court, and on May 7, 2024, the court ruled him not liable, and the public prosecution did not appeal the decision.
