This assessment, produced by ICNL in 2018, presents Jamaica’s laws – or lack thereof – that impact civil society organizations and social enterprises within a framework of international legal standards and comparative practice. It aims to facilitate a multi-stakeholder, participatory review, so that Jamaica can build a legal environment that enables the emerging social enterprise and nonprofit sectors to thrive.
